Choquequirao is Quechua language, which means gold cradle, the city of Choquequirao is located in a wonderful landscape over Apurimac River, this route offer to us a hard travel but amazing spans of diversity ecosystems. 

Route Description:

Itinerary:

Day  1 : Cusco - Cachora - Chiquiska.- We will go by bus for around 4 hours ,we are going to cross the  Cunyac bridge , Curawasi and Sayhuite as far us Cachora at 2800 meters above sea level where we leave the bus . After break we will star to walk down  for 5 hours till Chiquisca camp where we will sleep.

Day 2 : Chiquiska - Choquequirao.- This day we are going to ascend to Marampampa at 2800 meters above sea level, after that we take a flat way enjoying of a wonderful landscape of fauna and flora. We will arrive to Choquequirao at 3030 meters above sea level around 3 pm will be favorable to be grateful for the condor's fly in the depth Apurimac valley , this day we will walk for around 7 or 8 hours

Day 3 : Choquequirao  - Chiquiska.- Early in the morning we will visit the archeological group of Choquequirao , after 3 hours we will star to descent to  La Playa Rosalina here you can take a bath ,then we have to continue to Chiquisca our camping.

Day 4 : Chiquiska - Cachora - Cusco.- This will be our lust day walking for the Apurimac Valley, this day demand the last effort for descent to Cachora where we will take a bus to Cusco.
