Cusco Adventure - 5 days / 4 nights

This package is ideal for people who want to combine some adventure together withe seeing all the classical sites in and around Cusco. The 2 day/1 night Inca Trail hike is a mild adventure hike ending in Machu Picchu, and takes place towards the end of your tour so that you are fully acclimatized to the altitude.

Itinerary:

Day 1: We will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel of your choice.

14:00: City Tour - The places we visit: Temple of the Sun Qoricancha, The Cathedral, Sacayhuaman, Quenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.

Day 2: The Sacred Valley: The places you will visit are: Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.

Day 3: Inca Trail - 2 days and 1 night. (with one night in Aguas Calientes staying in the Hostal Machupicchu)

Day 4: Visit Machupicchu in the afternoon and then return to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 5: You will be transfered to the airport at the indicated time for your return or onward travel.

The Program Includes:

• Transport, guide and group entrances to the places we will visit mentioned in the program (City Tour, Sacred Valley and the Inca Trail 2 days/1 night)
• 3 nights in the hotel of your choice in Cusco.
• 1 night accomodation in Aguas Calientes in the Hostal Machupicchu, or if you choose to stay in the Libertador in Cusco for this program the hotel in Aguas Calientes will be the Hatucahy Tower.
• 1 buffet lunch during the tour of the Sacred Valley.
• 1 buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes.

Note: In Peru a Hostal is a smaller hotel.

If you would like to travel on the first class Vistadome train add an extra $45 USD.

If  you woul like to travel on the super luxury Hiram Bingham train the extra is $413 USD.

Making a reservation:

• Your arrival date and time in Cusco, and with what airline.
• How many people are in the group, their full names, nationalities and passport numbers.
• The type of accomodation you chose (what hotel and type of room)

    2.   Pre-pay 50% of the package price using one of the following options

Pay online  by VISA: Our cost are of  promotion, when you use this way for pre pay you us, you must to add 8% per transaction

The balance of the payment can be paid in Cusco in our office, preferably cash.

How can you reconfirm your reservation?

Once we have received your information and payment, you will receive an email within 24 hours confirming your request with a booking code and our company's a service contract.

Cancellation of reservations

If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation please note that you will lose your reservation prepayment.

Rules of Entrance

1. To enter the Inca Trail you need to get the authorisation of the INC (The National Institute of Culture) This authorisation can be obtained through the authorised tour operators for the Inca Trail.
2. The number of people that can go on the Inca Trail is limited, so to ensure your entrance you should make a reservation at least 3 months in advance. This is especially true in the high season from 1^st of May until the 30^th of October.
3. To make the reservation you must send your personal details: name, nationality, passport number, copy of your valid ISIC student card (you can send it by email or fax) and a deposit of $150 USD per person. You can reserve by emailing info@ecotourcusco.com and the deposit can be paid through Western Union or by paying online with Mastercard. Your reservation will be garaunteed once we recieve the deposit and details of your passport and student card, if applicable.
4. When you enter the trail, you need to present your original passport that you applied with and the original student card (if applicable). You may lose your reservation if you don't present these documents, or if you changed your passport from the one with which you made the reservation.
5. You need to be in good physical condition to take the Inca Trail. The walking ranges from easy to hard, especially on the second day. This is the most known route in Peru. It offers a variety of views including high mountains to sub-tropical jungle vegetation. The 39 kilometres of the Inca Trail was a route of pilgrimage to the final destination of the sacred city of Machupicchu. In order to undertake this expedition you need to have good physical condition, thats why we suggest you get to Cusco at least 2 days in advance to acclimatise to the conditions.
