You have two options for visiting this city from Cusco. (Option I and II).
Option I – “The Complete Puno Tour", 3 Days, 2 Nights:
Day 1: CUSCO – PUNO. At 8:30 in the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and take the bus to Puno.
At 3 PM we arrive in Puno, where you may stay in a three star hotel such as the Vargas Inn. The afternoon is free to wander the city and look around.
Day 2: UROS –TAQUILE-AMANTANI-PUNO (this is a 2 day, 1 night outing). We leave at 7:40 AM. The bus picks up passengers at their respective hotels and at 8 AM you board a motorized launch in the port of Puno which speeds to the Uros Islands. After 30 minutes you arrive at the islands and spend about an hour visiting a two islands. What is more, you have the chance to see the museums of plants and animals of Lake Titicaca, and there will be time to buy locally made artisan crafts. Back on the boat, we head to Amantani, where we arrive at midday. Passengers will be greeted and invited to different family houses at 2 PM. After lunch you will have the chance to see the islanders’ traditional lifestyle. In spite of the advancement of modernity the islanders still wear their traditional clothes and preserve their culture. In the evening you dine with them and participate in the ceremonies they perform, view the artisan exhibition and authentic dances they perform, and finally bed down for the night in a family house on the island.
Day 3: AMANTANI –TAQUILE -PUNO.At 7 breakfast is served and at 8 in the morning you depart Amantani and arrive forty minutes later at Taquile. We take a trail that takes approximately 40 minutes to hike up to the small town of Taquile. In the main square there is an artisan collective that sells handicrafts. Between noon and 1 PM you may have lunch with your tour group. Drinks and bottled water are expensive on the island and it is recommended you bring your own. At 1:30 we continue up the path to the summit and then head down to a small sheltered port, where we take the boat back to Puno.
In the afternoon you may leave Puno and return to Cusco or travel onwards to Arequipa, Lima, La Paz or other destinations.

If you have time to stay in Puno, you could visit Sillustani or other interesting places near the city.

Day 1: Cusco – Puno.- At 8:30 AM we pick you up from your hotel and board the bus to Puno.

Day 2: Uros – Taquile (1 day) - We pick you up from your hotel at 6:40 in the morning, head to the port, and leave on the motorized launch at 7:00. It is a 30 minute voyage to the beautiful floating islands of Uros, unique in the world. Here we will see the museums with the impressive plants and animals of Lake Titicaca. After an hour, we will continue onwards to Taquile and arrive just before noon. A winding path leads up to the town at the top of the hill that takes about 40 minutes to hike. We will stay on Taquile for two hours, visit the artisan collective, and take in the beautiful views. The islanders still wear their traditional clothing. You have the option of having lunch on the island, but we recommend you bring water and drinks with you as they can be expensive.
At 2:30 PM we board the boat and return to Puno by 5:30 in the afternoon.
When you return to Puno you have the option of returning to Cusco or traveling onwards to Arequipa, Lima, La Paz, or another destination.

TO RECONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION
Once your necessary information and payment are received we will send you an email within 24 hours, with a reservation code and a service contract.
CANCELLING A RESERVATION
If for whatever reason you must cancel your tour please do so at least fifteen days before the scheduled start date.
If you cancel with fifteen days’ notice we return 100% of your payment.
With only fourteen days’ notice we return 50% of your payment.
If you cancel with thirteen days or less remaining before the start of the tour you forfeit 100% of your payment.
Our reponsibilities:
Eco Service Tours shall provide all services as they are described in the tour itinerary, excepting natural disasters or other acts of God.
