Choquequirao 4days/3night

Choquequirao es palabra quechua y significa “Cuna de Oro”; Choquequirao está situada en el paisaje hermoso de la gama del Vilcabamba sobre el río Apurimac. Esta ruta nos ofrece un viaje con bastante dificultad pero formidable a través de ecosistemas diversos.

Es recomendable traer zapatos de Caminata, (las zapatillas deportivas no ayudan) tener buena preparación física, llegar a Cusco al menos 2 días antes del inicio de este recorrido.

Las salidas son en grupo de 2 hasta 16 personas.

Choose A: The tour is organize for us directly, with small groups of 6 people maximum.

• Student Cost 460.00 USD

Choose B: The tour is organizing join with other tour operator or travel agencies in Cusco with groups of 16 people us a maximum or with 12 people us a minimum.

• Adult Cost is 270.00 USD
• Student Cost 250.00 USD (bring your up-to-date ISIC card)

If you send us the advance payment with Western Union and pay the balance in cash in Cusco, we will give you an 8% discount off the total price.

HOW TO RECONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION

Once we’ve received all your necessary information (ISIC card if applicable, and prepayment) we will send you an email within 24 hours confirming your reservation with a service contract from our tour company.

CANCELLING A RESERVATION.

If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation please note that we will not be able to refund the full amount. Remember that when you give us your commitment we pay your services to give you.

With 15 days or less advance notice the total of the down-payment will not be refunded. Suggestion.

• Arrive in Cusco at least two days before you begin the Trail.
• The night before beginning the hike don’t drink alcohol or dance. You should be well rested and prepared to hike at altitude.
• Don’t bring your guidebook or Lonely Planet. It will only be excess, unneeded weight.
• Memorize some Quechua words to be able to communicate with the porters

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Chiquiska.-

We will go by bus for around 4 hours,we are going to cross the Cunyac bridge , Curawasi and Sayhuite as far us Cachora at 2800 meters above sea level where we leave the bus . After break we will star to walk down for 5 hours till Chiquisca camp where we will sleep.

Day 2: Chiquiska – Choquequirao.-

This day we are going to ascend to Marampampa at 2800 meters above sea level, after that we take a flat way enjoying of a wonderful landscape of fauna and flora. We will arrive to Choquequirao at 3030 meters above sea level around 3 pm will be favorable to be grateful for the condor’s fly in the depth Apurimac valley , this day we will walk for around 7 or 8 hours

Day 3: Choquequirao – Chiquiska.-

Early in the morning we will visit the archeological group of Choquequirao , after 3 hours we will star to descent to La Playa Rosalina here you can take a bath ,then we have to continue to Chiquisca our camping.

Day 4: Chiquiska – Cachora – Cusco

This will be our lust day walking for the Apurimac Valley, this day demand the last effort for descent to Cachora where we will take a bus to Cusco.
